NEW:  Penn Ohio Futurity Alumni Class

Where:  Springfield Horse Show

Class Specifications: 

$250 Penn Ohio Alumni ClassHorses will be judged at the walk or animated walk, park trot and canter.  Horses shall be judged 75% on performance, presence, quality and manners; 25% on total conformation.  Entries may be shown with set tails.  Tails may be braced or tied.

The mission of the Penn-Ohio Futurity:

  • To promote the breeding, showing and ownership of American Saddlebred Horses in the North Central region of the United States.
  • To provide opportunities for reward to those breeding and participating in promotional events such as competitions, breeders' jackpots, clinics and other activities of the Penn-Ohio Futurity.
  • To educate the public about the breeding, showing and ownership of American Saddlebred Horses.
  • To be continuously aware of the needs, opinions and suggestions of the membership of The Penn-Ohio Futurity.
  • To provide the membership and the general public with convenient and uninterrupted communication regarding the activities of the Penn-Ohio Futurity.
  • To work in unison with other state and regional organizations that share our goals of promoting the breeding, showing and ownership of American Saddlebred Horses.

Do You Want to Nominate a Foal?

If you want to show a foal born in 2009, the sire, dam and weanling must be nominated.  Simply fill out and submit the 2009 Nomination Form. See Rules for further details.

 

Is Your Horse Eligible?

If you nominated a foal in either 2007 or 2008, it may be eligible to show in 2009.  A list of previously nominated 2-YR OLDS and YEARLINGS is available.  Just click on the word link above.   If your horse appears on this list, simply submit the 2009 Nomination Form to show this year.  See Rules for further details.
